On April 19, at the “Make‘Made in China' Great Again” themed 2017‘Made in China' Innovation and Development Forum & Spokesman Contract Renewal Ceremony with Jackie Chan, CHIGO, one of the four family businesses within the air-conditioning industry, and Jackie Chan jointly announced a new term of brand spokesperson agreement. Both parties would focus on cooperation in the next 10 years and joint handsfor CHIGO’s ultimate goal of being a world-class enterprise.
At the end of 2014, CHIGO signed Jackie Chan as the spokesman for the first time, marking the new era of “High-end Leadership”. At the new starting point of 2017, CHIGO has decided to renew the cooperation agreement with Jackie Chan, indicating that CHIGO’s strategy based on smart products and high-end oriented brand is getting better and better. Jackie Chan has been a super Chinese star in the world. He is not only the guarantee of high box-office but also the unique Chinese symbol on global stages. Last year, Jackie Chan became the first Chinese awarded the Academy Honorary Award, which is an important reason for CHIGO to reselect Jackie Chan.
According to an annual report published on March 29th by CHIGO Holding Co. Ltd. amount of export in 2016 kept a steady growth. The report shows that OEM products by CHIGO has decreased visibly while CHIGO self-owned brand products has an outstanding growth of 26.2%. In 2016, CHIGO has achieved total overseas sales amount of 3.93 billion RMB, which occupied a pecentage of 42.2% of CHIGO total revenue 9.3 billion RMB in 2016.
As for the aims of 2017, Mr.Li indicated that he hopes sales amount in 2017 will increase over ten percentages ompared with 2016, and he believes that benefits of sales in 2017 will be better than 2016. While trying to improve sales in Chinese market, CHIGO will seize the opportunity to promote its overseas market under the guidance of China national policy of “One Belt and One Road.” A successful enterprise should not just focus on manufacturing process, Capital mergers and acquisitions, what’s more important is to figure out a road to establish itsglobal self-owned brand, to realize globalized allocation of HR, resources,market, technologies and brand.
In 2017, CHIGO’s overseas sales aim is to increase15%. Mr. Li is very confident to fulfill the target for CHIGO bloc to realizesales amount 100 billion RMB. He said that sale overseas needs to consolidate step by step. CHIGO has its endorsement by Jackie Chen and now hands in hand with him for ten more years. This will definitely help CHIGO to win popularity in the overseas market. What’s more, CHIGO will perfect its overseas after sales services network to enhance its reputation.
