On September 20, a ceremony denominated Annual National Quality Advanced Units and Individuals From 2009 to 2010 was held in the Great Hall of the General Assembly in Beijing. Guangdong CHIGO Air Conditioning Co., Ltd., together with other 90 advanced units in quality in the country, was awarded another highest honor of National Quality Award after winning “National Export Inspection-free Qualification” (only two enterprises in air conditioning industry).

It is reported that in order to summarize the achievements on quality building, to promote the advanced and to open a brand new panorama of quality development, the Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine started the selection of annual advanced units and individuals in quality in the country from 2009 to 2010 in May this year national wide, which includes the award of enterprises with a more elevated level of quality administration, a notable development in quality and advanced positions among other organizations, enterprises and business units in their industry. Only 100 awards were granted (6 state-owned enterprises included).

According to reports, the 91 national quality award-winning advanced units are found with the approval made by Central Leading Group of Rating, Appraising and Awarding, in accordance with Product Quality Law and Management Regulations for Rating, Appraising and Awarding Activities (Tentative) which serves as the only recognition and award regime approved by AQSIQ in national quality management.
